You see, I am a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks, a Big as they call it. As a Big, I commit my time to one child, my Little Paisley. Paisley is a beautifully curious 12-year-old who is always open to trying new things.

My love for the outdoors led me to take her on an easy hike around Fellows Lake to introduce her to nature.

It was a beautiful day. Yes, the day was beautiful, but watching her enjoy the hike, trying to skip rocks in the lake for the first time in her life, and being mesmerized by the sun dancing on the crests of the waves was the most beautiful part of the day.
